great structured raw silk, very elegantJan 19, 2009
very elegant, I'd wear this to any event. This is a very comfortable piece of clothing that looks and feels great. It is more off-white than on the picture, natural color of raw silk, and has the beautiful structure of the irregular thread. Not see-through at all, you don't see underwear. It came a little stiff, which made it look a little like maternity wear, but some damp ironing of the seams made it fall nicely and got rid of the maternity look. It would be wide enough though, if that is what you need. The sleeves are as short as on the picture, probably the traditional style. Mine was true to size, I am 5'5 with 34" around the bust, and the 36" small size fit me very well. Very nice seller too. This ships fast! Even though it comes from India. Some US sellers take longer.
